Fr 2019 motor system

@Flying_Rodeo, same as @Telejacket and @Gliderpilot, I will be delighted to be able to order you a prop. Let me know.

Thanks for the hub file. I’m going to print it with 0 infill. Then see what modifications I need to do to make it fit between the FR prop and the 65161. Then I will probably print the duct also.

I see questions that indicate that the FR prop was available in 6" and 7" pitch. How do you tell? I just got mine from the latest batch David made. It is beautiful.

I have both. I had to get the calipers out to tell the difference. Very had to tell by eye if you dont know the subtle differences. The prop David is making for the flipsky motor is a 6 Inch.

Was in Fusion when you posted this. Ive altered the STL so it might fit the flipsky now. :crossed_fingers:

EDIT: These ones only fit one of the flipsky motors. Better STL below in the thread that fits both.

Today I went out and did see between 22 and 24 kmh about 1400 watt. With a a cut down 5 pitch alu prop. If I order the 6 pitch from flying rodeo, what can I expect ? 1200 watt with same speed ?

I think you are pretty close with that 1200watts but it totally depends on the riding conditions…

I did a ride yesterday. The prop is a blast. On my 100kv Flipsky it is absolutely silent. The whole system, FESC200a and FS 65161 runs smooth as butter. No advertising here, do not get me wrong. I am just happy with the result and I bet other setups are truly comparable. The torque from this prop especially for initial acceleration is very good and helps me lift off very fast. I was going around 30km/h, I think there was still some room.

Thanks What wing voltage do you run

Me? Gong L and 12s batt

That is great to hear! I´m on 12S with the 120kv 65161 with FR prop. Im using the Gong Pro L wing.
As soon as I am allowed (lock-down) ill report back how she flies.

Do you know how many amps you pulled before and after take-off and at 30kmph ??

No clue. Also there is lots of stream in my local river so my results might be not comparable

Thank you very much. I really struggle with fusion. I immediately started printing the Hub. I will let you know how you did.

Good. I would prefer the 6".That will load the motor slightly less. I don’t think I will ever use the top end speed anyways.

Does anyone have the stl for a hub for the FR prop / 65151 with the flipsky motor?

Check Out my build there is a tinkercad link. You need to modify a little should be easy

I have no experience on fusion. I was hoping that as this is a popular combo now, it might already exist.

If anyone can help ild appreciate it.

It’s not fusion it’s tinkercad. It’s simple as LEGO, you can master it
