Great to see a board devoted to DIYers!
I am designing a foilboard prototype to test ride behind the boat, but I have no RC experience.
If I build an electric setup it is going to be underwater, attached to the foil not the board. The only design I have seen like this is Scubajet, but Scubajet is not currently powerful enough to work for my design.
I weigh about 170 lbs.
I think I am looking for the following parts:
- A waterproof motor.
- A simple waterproof ESC and transmitter that would work with an android device.
- A waterproof battery that would run the motor for 10 minutes.
Has anyone else attempted this type of design with a submersible system?
Does anybody have a supplier to recommend for RC parts?
