New Project Surfjet/Jetboard

this picture shows the old layout, on wooden plate and with old connectors.
Also just with one bank of caps.

Wow, is this realy needed for a jet board? :open_mouth: I knew that they where power hungry but I thought I could do it with a swordfish 300A too or maybe double in a 2 motor configuration.

What do you guys think of this one:

They clame a top speed of 52km/h and a one hour ride time or 30km distance. Sound to good to be true… :see_no_evil:

If I were to build a jet board I would go for 2 youngsters jets and then go from there… They work out quite a bit cheaper than anything else.

You need to email mark directly…

u need water jet design ? for 3D print

I don’t have a good 3d printer right now but maybe in the future.

Oki ^^ just pm when u need some design.

Wouldnt it be possible to skip the expensive and power consuming jet principle and go for a ‘prop in a tube’ principle? similar to this:

You can use the SSS 56104 (2 x ±100usd + 2x a large RC race prop )

its a nice idea but im not sure about how this can perform in river ^^

Nice but how do you make the link between motor and prop ? A flexible shaft ?

I think you can use a long shaft and place the props and motor under a slight angle, like longtail boats do. You would only lose a small amount of forward thrust.

With a long shaft, to decrease the shaft angle, motors could be placed in the nose of the board. This would be a bit noisy though.
