Magnetic battery hatch

Hi there

Do any of you have experience with some kind of magnetic hatch for the electronics/battery compartment?.
In theory the absence of fasteners would make i more waterproof as long as the magnets are strong enough to seal the gab sufficiently.
My current build is ment to have a standard hinged boat hatch, but i just realized that people are having trouble waterproofing them.

I would be worried about signal interference with all those magnets around. Could be some influence on electronics.

Very hard to get a magnet strong enough that will hold a seal with the impacts of the inevitable fall or crash landing and water going over the top of the boad
