Man, none of these companies can even respond to an email. The first reliable company to sell only a board is going to kill it! I know FR does and he’s too slammed to meet demand. I can’t believe a company hasn’t stepped up yet.

yes I should have ordered from FR off season, Still I was not able to find a ready to use foil board for DIY project. Seems @CarbonOrca is not available and I didn’t hear back from him

So true. A reliable company with a proven know-how already selling surf or sup boards direct for example…

How much was the complete eFoil? Or did you only buy some components then build it yourself?
Vefoil is out it seems he is not responding to inquiries but actively selling prototype parts in the forum
I bought the board and motor with mast. I built the electronics,batteries and wireless control and I am using Slingshot/ride engine foils.
VeFoil is still alive!
We do have a bunch of DIY parts we would like unload Bunch of SSS motors all different KV, VESC 6 (300A 75v from Trampboards.com), a couple 400A Flier ESC’s, shafts 8mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, bearings. Also we have a VeFoil board that didnt make the cut but its new, and just needs a little DIY for the hatch to have hinges and seal.
Board $400 + Shipping
6’ x 28" Its this board on our VeFoil.com website more or less.
I have the hatch cover but needs hinges, seal, addes support/strength
We just partnered with a hydrofoil and product production company and are plugging away behind the scenes and focusing to start production in April 2020.

A year ago you talked about reasonable prices
And asked for little support for the funds
For the sale of the product at cost to supporters
Now you’re going to be another manufacturer with crazy prices
Why not share what you have left instead of selling,
You don’t really help anyone anymore, you didn’t even answer emails

We have answered emails, several thousand in fact, and do have a backlog of a few hundred to get through if you sent one I will get to it unless we missed it in a junk/spam/promotions folder.
We will have a discounted price for backers and launching which is below the prices you saw here, but keep in mind, our unit is no DIY project that breaks every other ride, its all commercial grade parts with warranties, lots of custom parts, molds, etc… its not cheap and there is a reason why efoils cost a lot if you want a quality efoil you can ride without any issues.
I bought two FR engine units, excellent motors, a very high production level product, excellent service, warranty, and a reasonable price of $ 1500 and not $ 3000 per unit
Nice, did it come with all the electronics, anti-spark system all waterproofed ready to go?
We are working with the motor company that makes Lift’s motors, super awesome engineers and motor quality, same as FR I think as well.

I doubt FR is using the same motor manufacturer as lift initially used. Their motor dimensions are different…
@VeFoil Since I opened this threat you reached me out for selling the exact board and every time after exchanging messages it comes to settle it you suddenly disappear. It makes me feel this is the only proto type you have and you are just trying to test us or what! And I bet you will not disclose the motor Factory @SoEFoil asked at least FR has a track of great product and he is a great communicator! You are already damaging your brand reputation before launching your product! good luck!

It’s not the same company. I’m selling limited runs of Flying Rodeo Canada efoils. All pre sold. I have a fresh run of efoils almost ready for some very lucky people. Flying Rodeo boards,motors and propellers and my supercharged electronics and batteries. For high performance enthusiasts only. This Ve foil board looks way too big. Too much swing weight.

Why should we buy for that price? www.etakuma.de is shipping their board already for 6799€ and it looks like it is working fine;-)
