Cnc aluminium mastclamp

Oke thanks for the help I hope it wil work out!

Im in the process of casting mine. using the lost shell method - Used a zero infill PLA print. Ill pack this in wet fine sand, Add a spidget. and pour. might as well try. plenty of old alu knocking about. worth a shot i guess.

If you want can you show us the results? Would be interesting to see how it works out

My front clamp broke. Now I use this. Ugly as hell, but it does the job:D
I’m going to put some moldable epoxy around it for better streamline.

Oke that does not look so nice😅 I made a stainless steel insert a while ago. It works great but is a pain to bend exactly right.

Did you make it (little adaptor) from Delrin/Acetal?

which prop are you using is that the flisky motor?

Thats the Solas prop. It needs to be modified a bit to fit

Is it a good prop for the flispyk motor?

It’s average. It worked as well as my 3D printed prop.

Made it from g10 on my cnc mill. Realy strong and good fit.

I have to test it but it was easy to fit to this motor. I also will test with a few aluminium props from china.

Do you really mean the black part at the rear of the motor ? Normally, G10 isn’t black…

Yes I made it from 4 plates. 3x 3mm and 1x 1.5mm tickness. You can buy g10 in every color that you want.
