What about bulbous bows allowing for larger motors?

We all focus so much about drag, thus limiting the motor diameter…

I wonder if we could not use a bulbous bow and thus a much larger engine inside without caring about the drag…

I suppose the bulb bow doesn’t work for speeds that are larger than hull speed and our “torpedoes” are definitely moving faster than hull speed.

Bulb bows are used in larger ships with a long waterline where the wave of the bulb and the wave of the bow eliminate each other.

I don’t know… Look at fast recent submarines. The bulb is quite prominent.
